KINGDOM TEXTING XII

KINGDOM TEXTING XII

Sign on the dotted line - We have a new agreement with God. Through His Grace, He gives us the Faith to believe and trust in His Son, our Mediator, who paid for everything when He died on the cross. We are forgiven and given a new spiritual existence filled with His powerful Holy Spirit. We become adopted children of God and heirs to His Kingdom.

Be God's Valentine: God loves you just as you are. He wants the best for you. Through Jesus He wants you to get to know Him, to love Him, to trust Him and to depend on Him. If you place Him first in your life then everything else will fall into it's proper place. He wants you to get to know Him and understand that He loves you beyond your understanding.

"What does the Lord require of you? To do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God."  Micah 6:8

It is time to get out of our comfort zoneGod wants us to step out of the rowboat and walk on water to get to Jesus. Stay focused on Christ and we will not sink. Know that He is there to rescue us if we need Him. Are you ready?

We are totally dependent on Jesus ("without me you can do nothing"), but we have to progress beyond that and realize that with Jesus we can do all things and we are totally superior ("more than conquerors") to anything that is evil.

Behind the Scenes: When we choose to pray, the Holy Spirit instructs, guides and inspires us to align our request to the Will of God (found in His Word and in His promises). Jesus intercedes for us and secures our request before the throne. God hears our prayer and by His almighty wisdom and power, answers our prayer which Jesus delivers, then the Holy Spirit helps us to take the proper steps to recognize and receive God's blessing.

Start your day with prayer. "In the early morning hours, Jesus would awaken and, while it was still dark, He would go out to find a quiet place to pray." (Mark 1:35)

Jesus is the author and the epitome of our faith. We must shift our attention from our own weakness to Christ’s power and authority. When we take our place in Him, our spiritual faith is activated and we start to live like the Kingdom Royalty that we were created to be

Forgiving is unlocking the prison door to our heart to set someone free then realizing that all along, you were the prisoner

Complacency prevents us from leaving our prison camp even though the war is already over and has been won by Christ. Our refusal to change our old ways prevents us from getting closer to God, living a full life and realizing our true purpose.

We must be careful to choose God's will and not to place our faith on the lies of the enemy that contradict God's Word and create prison walls that keep us from experiencing 'The Truth' that will allow us to be free to live as citizens in God's Kingdom.
