KINGDOM TEXTING VIII
"In Your presence there is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures evermore, You surround us with Your favor, oh Lord. The earth is full of Your goodness, the earth is filled with Your love. Exceedingly, abundantly, far above all we could ever ask or think, You give us all things to enjoy."
We must always invite God to all of our meetings, get-togethers, brain storming sessions, etc. He knows everything (past, present, future), He knows exactly how everyone feels, He loves us and wants the best for us, He can do anything. Need I say more? God bless.
When the thief on the cross recognized that Jesus was his Savior and realized he could have a new existence, Christ said, "Today you will be with me in paradise." He left his 'old' dead self on the cross and then resurrected with Christ. He became a new person living with Jesus in the Kingdom. We can do this too!
(Gal 2:20, Rom 6:4)
Jesus wants to pull you away from all your distractions so you can close your eyes and rest with God the Father and focus on His love, goodness and mercy. This magnifies God's presence and His blessings will overflow in your life forever.
Jesus is always with me and when a storm comes, I know I am safe and I will never drown. He commands the storm to be calm. If I want to walk on water or do something else out of the ordinary that will glorify God, I need to keep my eyes focused on Jesus. As soon as my attention goes elsewhere, then I start to sink but His hand is always there to pull me out. I am so blessed.
On Christmas, our Heavenly Father brought Heaven to Earth by sending Jesus to free us from our prison of bad choices. He came to show us the WAY to live in love so we could learn the TRUTH about our spiritual side and live a LIFE that unites us to God. Merry Christmas.
Today we celebrate the greatest event of all time, when God came to Earth so we would have the choice to be connected to Him forever. We can now choose to be true 'Children of God' and make everything new through Jesus. We are free. Merry Christmas.
A New Year is starting in a couple of days. It's time you include God in your day to day decisions. You will see amazing positive changes in your life. It's time you get rid of your dark cloud of bad choices and negative results.
"The star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed." (The 3 Wise Men)
Celebrate the New Year with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17 ... If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Galatians 2:20 ... It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Isaiah 43:18 ... Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
Colossians 3:9 ... You have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of your creator.
The New Year brings New Hope to be closer to God, to be filled with His blessings and to help others with Jesus by our side. So be it.
God wants us to be important in His Kingdom so we can be a 'light to this world'. How do we become important? God has clear instructions, "Humble yourself and I will exalt you."
Please close your eyes and imagine being by Jesus side. He leads you to a door and you open it. There is so much brightness that you can't see but you can feel the almighty warmth of God's unlimited love. Your soul is filled with His Joy and Peace. Amen
New Year's Resolution:
Instead of trying to understand God, I will love and trust Him more and more each and every day.
