You are NOT defeated, there is still hope. The truth is that you can depend on and use the Faith of Christ which leads to victory in your life. This is the only way to go. Amen

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail. Proverbs 19:21
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer in His Word is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked, for the day of trouble. Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished. ... Proverbs 16:1-9
Lord, show me your ways, teach me your paths, guide me in your truth and teach me for you are God my Savior and my hope is in you all day long.
Where can I go from you Lord? Where can I escape your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I descend to the darkness, you are there! If I sail away in to the furthermost points of the sea, even there you will protect me and your right hand will hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me,” the night is as bright as the day with you. Nothing can ever separate me from your love. I am safe.
Blessed are those who do not walk or stand or sit in the company of others who mock God but who delight in the ways of the LORD and who meditate on God's Will day and night. Those who believe are like trees planted close to streams of water which yield much fruit and whose leaves do not wither - whatever they do prospers ... the LORD watches over those who love Him but those who turn away follow a road that leads to destruction.

When you ask, you must ask in faith and trust without any doubts for the one who doubts is like the waves of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Do not expect to receive anything from the Lord if you are double-minded and unstable in your ways.
Lord, is there anything that I do that does not please you? Please help me to get rid of it. Do I love you? Yes, I do but please help me to love you more. Help me to release those things in my life that I know are wrong.
“But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away ... so all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord and the Lord—who is the spirit—makes us more and more like Jesus as we are changed into his glorious image.”
