KINGDOM TEXTING (Part 1)
As part of my "Texting Ministry" I send out Bible verses or spiritual thoughts to my network of family and friends on a daily basis. Here are some examples:
Once we accept Christ as our Savior and confess our sins, He lives within us. Any negative and sinful thought can ONLY ORIGINATE FROM the 'old' person who is now dead and is ‘haunting’ us. We must RESIST these thoughts and the enemy will 'take off'. Carefully evaluate each one of your thoughts. Don't conform to your old habits but renew your mind by only accepting the thoughts that agree with God's love for you. Accept the FACT that you are a New Person, a Child of God. You are Royalty in God's Kingdom - ACT THAT WAY! The benefits and blessings are endless. With love, in the Name of Jesus.
At times, we have more faith in sin, in our troubles and in our illnesses than we have in our Victory in Christ. We must only serve ONE MASTER. If God says it in His Word, we must Believe it and Hang On to His Word, no matter what else is happening around us. We are more than conquerors in Christ. Nothing can ever separate us from the love of God.
You exist in two environments at the same time. Right now, you are 'physically' on this earth AND, at the same time, you are 'spiritually' in heavenly places with Jesus in God's presence. We need to practice translating our awareness to being close to God until we get used to residing there at every moment of our lives. This will help us to 'not conform to the pattern of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind'. This will result in living our life to its fullest.
"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son." (Col 1:13) 'Translate' your presence to be with Christ in a heavenly place before God. Ask and you will receive.
No matter where we have travelled or how far away we are, we can always get on the bus that takes us back home. God will be waiting for us. His plan for love and hope is forever with us.
Partial obedience is still disobedience. Torment is someone who knows Christ but is still living in sin. 2Corin 10:5 take every thought captive by the obedience of Christ. RENEW YOUR MIND
Jesus said, 'Love one another as I have loved you', ‘I am telling you the truth, whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.’
When we were born, we were given hundreds of puzzle pieces. We spend the rest of our lives fitting these pieces together. Having a vision for the final outcome makes it a lot easier. Pray to align your vision to God's plan for you.
What ends up happening on earth is NOT always God's Will. This is why Jesus taught us to pray, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." Even Christ Himself prayed, "Not my will but Thy Will be done." What God does allow is for us to have a free will. Evil influence and our own earthly choices are the cause of many of the bad events that take place in this imperfect and cursed world ruled by the enemy. Many times, God will protect us or He will work bad events into good for those who love Him. We should question what was the cause of what took place, in order to prevent it from happening again in the future. God was not the cause and it was not His Will for Adam to sin. He was aware and He did allow it to happen. God is love and He wants the best for us always. Amen
When Christ died for you, He 'reserved' a seat in the throne room just for you, so you could be in God's presence. Please close your eyes and go there now and have a seat, hold your loving Father's hand, tell Him how much you love Him, tell Him how grateful you are for everything He has done for you, tell Him that you are not worthy to be in His presence, ask Him to forgive you for the times in your life that you made the wrong choices, tell Him your problems ... please feel free to unload and cry. You will finally begin to understand how much He really loves you, how He wants you 'just the way you are', how much He wants to help you, how important it is for Him to resolve your problems and how happy He is that you have returned to your spiritual home into His embrace. You are His child and He will never let you go. He is always there for you ... 24x7.
The Lazarus Story - your spirit, your connection to God was dead. It is time to reconnect. Ask Jesus to roll back the stone that keeps you in the darkness. He brings your spirit back to life? Rise and walk out of your cave. Ask Jesus to forgive you for the many wrong choices you have made in your life. Do you need to forgive anyone who has hurt you? Do you need to return something you have taken? Do you need to get rid of any bad habits? Break away from your old ways of thinking. Renew your mind and open your heart to God's love and healing. Open your soul to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You will be set free and finally start to live life to its fullest filled with God's blessings.
Whenever there's an encounter between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of light, the Kingdom of light will always win. But the kingdom of darkness will try everything to compromise the power of God in me through fear, lies, unbelief, rebellion, and other sinful thoughts and emotions. He wants to steal your joy, kill your hopes and destroy your soul.
If you admit to the truth about your desire for sin in your life and if you turn to Jesus to help you break free from these habits, then you will be forgiven, healed and set free to start living a life full of God's love, joy and peace. The Truth will set you free. Amen
I break the power of every principality, powers, rulers of darkness and wicked spirits in my life, and every evil work directed against me in the Name of Jesus Christ! I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my life to cleanse me and protect me from the evil one, and I claim the power of the Holy Spirit over all of the kingdom of darkness, for greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Satan, you and your demons have no authority in my life for I belong to the Lord, Jesus Christ, and I am seated with Him in heavenly places. I command you, evil spirits, to let go and leave my body, and I bind you from hurting anyone in the process, in the Name of Jesus Christ, LEAVE NOW & NEVER RETURN!
The shortest prayer we can pray is to say the name of "JESUS" with love, hope and trust to protect you, your family and your friends. "At the name of JESUS, every knee will bend in Heaven, on Earth and beneath the earth". (Phil 2:10)
If you only knew what SIN (making the wrong choice) does to your life, you would hate it and resist it at all costs. It can totally destroy you and your family. It would be like allowing a thief and a murderer to live in your home to steal, kill and destroy.
Believing that Jesus is God incarnate who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins is not enough. Even the demons believe this. (James 2:19). We must acknowledge the death of Christ as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. We must sit with Christ in the "chair of repentance and salvation". This is the faith that pleases God and brings salvation. (Acts 16:31). Biblical faith is always accompanied by repentance, hatred for our sins and a sincere love for God and each other.
The Gifts of the Spirit are given as needed and determined by the Holy Spirit: faith, prophesying, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, distinguishing between spirits, miraculous powers, healings, serving, teaching, encouraging, mercy, giving, helps, speaking in tongues, diversity of tongues, interpretation of tongues, governments, leadership.
At times, we have more faith in sin and illness than we have in our Victory with Christ.
If God said it in His Word, we MUST believe it and it will come to pass.
(Thess 5:17) There are 3 things mentioned that form a continuous circle of spiritual life. We should always (1) give thanks for all good things from God ... which make us (2) joyful always ... therefore we continue to (3) pray without ceasing ... which takes us back to (1). "This is God's will for you."
Make the Right Choice: God says: I call heaven and earth to record your choice. Before you, I place life and death, blessings and curses ... please choose life, so that you and your family may live. (Deut 30:19) Jesus says: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life - Choose Life.
